Despicable thieves steal pet food from animal shelter

- Missouri, USA -

More than 30 bags of dog and cat food were STOLEN from the animal shelter Gateway Pet Guardians of 5321 Manchester Avenue in Saint Louis. The food was worth $1,200.

The nonprofit posted on their Facebook page on October 10, that three people took Purina One pets food bags that had just been delivered to the shelter.

This food is provided monthly by Purina so that it can be distributed to the foster families who care for homeless furbabies.

These soulless, heartless, despicable thieves with no scruples when confronted by a shelter staff member sped off with their vehicles and almost hit a woman carrying a dog.

A police report has been filed.

Now we need to help the police and the shelter identify these worthless and useless members of our society.

Unfortunately, cameras did not pick up the vehicles’ plates so the pictures will have to do the job.

If you recognize them, please come forward. You can either contact St. Louis City Police Department on (314) - 231 - 1212 or Gateway Pet Guardians on (314) - 664 - 7398. Thank you!
