DANIELLE CHUNTE ERSKINE and JERMICHAEL ANTJAN NIXON facing animal cruelty charges

- Alabama, USA -

The Autauga County District Attorney’s Office has filed animal cruelty charges against a second suspect in animal cruelty case.

27-yers-old JERMICHAEL ANTJAN NIXON (pictured) is now facing five counts of cruelty to animals.

It all started back in February when deputies with the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home in the 500 block of North Pickett Street in Autaugaville on the early morning of Thursday, February 24, for a domestic incident between NIXON and 28-years-old DANIELLE CHUNTE ERSKINE (also pictured).

WSFA reports that deputies found NIXON and ERSKINE walking down North Pickett Street.

At the time, NIXON was taken into custody on unrelated charges and deputies gave ERSKINE a ride back home as a courtesy.

Reportedly, ERSKINE allowed deputies to search the home and they then discovered a dead dog and several others who appeared malnourished in an enclosure.

According to WSFA, the deposition read: “Four dogs were found to be confined using heavy-duty chains, which restricted their movement. The dogs did not have access to clean water or dog food.

The deposition also added that one of the dogs appeared to be injured. A large laceration could be seen on his/her left shoulder that seemed to have been untreated.

The VOICELESS VICTIMS were removed from the home and are receiving medical treatment. A motion has been filed by the state to take custody of the furbabies.

ERSKINE was arrested on five counts of animal cruelty, transported to the Autauga County Jail and placed under a $60,000 cash-only bail.

The District Attorney’s Office said both ERSKINE and NIXON have waived their right to a preliminary hearing. The case will be sent to an Autauga County grand jury.

The next grand jury is expected to convene in the fall.

On an unrelated note, as I was Googling NIXON, I came across an article published by Montgomery Advertiser on September 14, 2018, reporting that NIXON had been arrested for robbery and burglary. NIXON broke into a home on Autauga Street in Autaugaville by removing a window unit air conditioner. “Once inside, he allegedly pulled a handgun, pushed the victim to the floor and took her purse containing $200 in cash. He also allegedly stole a bottle of blood pressure medicine”, reported Montgomery Advertiser.

These two losers must be held Here they responsible. Nothing less! They are cruel indifferent monsters. Treat them as such. RIP to the Blessed Souls who have been murdered by these two pieces of scum, & please get better to those surviving souls.
