DALLAS ANDERSON arrested after two dead dogs were discovered in his house

- Memphis, Tennessee, USA -

Police were called to a home on the 2200 block on Zanone Avenue on Tuesday, October 29, to investigate a complaint.

Officers found in the property a total of seven dogs.

Two of them were dead, and five were “extremely malnourished.”

The dogs were not being provided with food, water, and proper shelter.

One of the dogs had to be rushed into surgery as a result from an attack from another dog.

NEWS 3 reports that Memphis Animal Services said it’s too early to know what the fate of the surviving dogs will be.

Investigators identified 19-year-old- DALLAS ANDERSON as the one responsible for the dogs and the one who failed to give them proper care.

ANDERSON was arrested and charged with cruelty to animals.

As NEWS 3 reports, “He also faces a contraband charge after police said he tried taking marijuana into jail when they were booking him.
