Pineville Police Department’s press release states that on Monday, December 30, Pineville Officer Michael Smith was dispatched to the Bell County Probation and Parole Office to speak with Officer Stewart.
Officer Smith learned that 40-year-old JULIE MILLER (pictured below), was at the office for her regular probation visit.
As a part of her supervision, MILLER was asked for a drug screen and knowing she would have failed the drug test, she snuck in a sample of her dog’s urine in an attempt to pass it off as her own to probation and parole officers.
She said her test would show she had used methamphetamine and Suboxone.
JULIE MILLER was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with tampering with physical evidence.
It’s unknown what happened to the dog.
