BRANDON SCOTT AMOS accused of killing one cat by strangulation and another one by kicking him/her

- Montana, USA -

On Monday, January 3, 28-years-old BRANDON SCOTT AMOS (pictured below) appeared in Ravalli County Justice Court on felony counts of assault with a weapon and criminal mischief.

On December 31, 2021, a woman called the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office to report that AMOS had killed two cats and three sheriff’s officers were dispatched to AMOS’ home in Victor.

The woman told the officers that AMOS had killed one of the two cats by strangulation and the other one by kicking him/her.

The woman then told one of the officers that AMOS’ father had called her to say he was afraid to call the authorities after his son confessed to killing the cats.

AMOS told his father that the cat he had strangled was buried in the yard. AMOS also threatened his father with a knife.

AMOS’ father told the officers that a few days prior he had seven cats and now he only had three.

The father then told the officers that his son had shot up his home and showed the officers the holes in the walls and ceiling. AMOS had used a .22 caliber rifle.

AMOS also used an ax to damage the washing machine and the fridge and other items had also been broken.

Online arrest records for AMOS show among the charges one count of aggravated animal cruelty.

Ravalli County Justice Jennifer Ray set bond at $10,000.

A petition has been created addressed to Ravalli County Attorney Bill Fulbright asking to prosecute AMOS.

I apologize I was not able to find a better picture of AMOS.
