On Wednesday, August 28, the nonprofit ”Animal Rescue Corps” conducted a major rescue in Hardin County. 88 cats and four goldfish were removed.
The poor cats were living in squalid conditions in a home run as a cat sanctuary. When the owner realized she could no longer take care of these furbabies, she reached out to the nonprofit and all the felines have been surrendered to them.
The organization brought the cats to its operation center in Lebanon.
The cats are being treated for so many different conditions.
Many of them are suffering from respiratory and eye infections among other illnesses.
As soon as they fully recover, they will be available for adoption.
