A dead dog was found in a dumpster by a Sally Beauty’s Supply employee on Wednesday, September 25.
ABC-7 reports that as the employee was walking towards the dumpster behind the store, she saw someone toss a bag in it and drove off.
After noticing that in the bag there was a dog, she called Animal Services.
When officers arrived, they discovered that the poor pup had been skinned.
Thankfully, the employee was able to provide the police with a description of the man she saw.
If the man is found, his charges will depend on the results of the necropsy meaning that he could be off the hook by paying a fine for illegal dumping, or charged with third-degree felony.
We just have to wait for an official report to be released.
