AMY J. TENNANT arrested for killing a fish by pouring floor cleaner in the tank where the fish was

On the afternoon of Friday, February 11, Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home on South James Street in Rome for a domestic dispute.
Deputies learned that 43-years-old AMY J. TENNANT had gotten into a verbal domestic with her partner over their fish.
A news release issued by the sheriff’s office stated that during the altercation, TENNANT “intentionally poured floor cleaner into the fish tank, killing the fish it contained.”
Deputies arrested TENNANT on one count of animal cruelty.
According to online records TENNANT is no longer in custody.
